Marko Đurašević

The unique fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean 21st century cuisine, available only at Kinoteka Food & Bar, is brought to you by master chef Marko Đurašević. This culinary virtuoso, can boast with over two decades of work experience in Spain as a chef in world renowned two-Michelin-starred restaurants - Arola in Madrid, Enoteca in Barcelona & Miramar Llançà in Girona, as well as in top-notch restaurants such as Nou Manolin in Alicante, frequently visited by the Spanish king and the “chef of the century” Joël Robuchon.

Chef Marko Đurešević has developed his culinary craft working with world-famous chefs suchs as Paco Perez and César Marquiegui. He has gained a thorough knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture both by traveling to Japan and by working as a research and development chef at the popular Japanese-Brasilian restaurant Ikibana in Barcelona. Before moving to Split, he also worked at Kataria Gastronomica in Alicante, where his career of Head chef began when, within just nine months of his arrival, the restaurant received a Michelin Guide recommendation. 

In his new culinary chapter, chef Marko Đurašević is bringing a unique fusion of Tokyo and Split flavors right to the tables of Kinoteka Food & Bar, deep in the heart of the 1700-year-old UNESCO protected Palace of Diocletian.
